The Lily Range - Retro Pastels from Varilight

In response to a renaissance in all things 1950s, Varilight have created a new range of retro wiring accessories. The “Lily” range features a curved-edge, raised-profile faceplate in four pastel colours that echo the style of a decade that saw bright colours being used for the first time in interior design, iconic “automobiles” and consumer products such as telephones and refrigerators.

Some commentators have suggested that today’s economic climate is behind the re-emergence of styles made popular in the 50s, a decade of post-war austerity. Varilight are keen to point out that the range is competitively priced and so will appeal for those on a wide range of budgets. For others it may simply be time for a change after a period where more muted colours have been popular. The four fresh colours offered by Varilight will certainly brighten up any interior design scheme.

Varilight is offering a wide selection of switches, sockets and dimmers in the Lily range in each of four pastel colours - rose pink, duck-egg blue, white chocolate (cream) and beryl green. The range will no doubt appeal to customers looking for switches and sockets to match the plethora of retro-styled household appliances now available on the high street. The pink and blue options are also ideal for children’s bedrooms while the cream and green versions would be a great choice to coordinate or contrast with kitchens.

To order from the Lily range please use the following product code format. For example to order a 1-Gang 2-Way Switch in Duck-Egg Blue use product code XY1W.DB (The DB is replaced by RP for Rose Pink; WC for White Chocolate; BG for Beryl Green).
